Berkline offers several upholstery options: Fabric, Microfiber, Bonded Leather, Leather Match & Full Leather. Details are as follows:
FABRIC
Berkline offers a wide selection of Fabric in many different colors to choose from. Each fabric consists of a different blend of specific materials, but common substances used in furniture fabric are Cotton, Nylon, polypropylene, rayon & denim.
MICROFIBER
Microfibers are very small strands of material that can be knitted or woven together, or made into non-woven fabrics. Microfiber furniture is very soft, easy to clean, and resists everyday wear very well.
LEATHER/MATCH
Leather Match is the most popular choice for furniture today. The entire seating surface is genuine top grain leather, while the sides under the arms and the back of the chair uses synthetic leather which looks exactly like the real leather. With this combination you still get a great leather look, without sacrificing any comfort.
FULL LEATHER
Full genuine top grain leather on all the surfaces.
AVAILABLE GRADES OF LEATHER
Berkline offers 3 grades of leather. Grade 1 will have the highest durability and is perfect for everyday use with pets and children. Grade 2, or Premium Leather II, is still very durable, but it has been worked more to provide a softer surface at the sacrifice of a little durability. Grade 3, or Premium Leather III, offers the softest and most gentle of all the leathers, but can easily be stained if drinks or food are spilled on it.
